GUFC fundraising dinner 2016

On Saturday 12th March, Ronan, Duncan, Alison and Norman from ESP along with friends from Smurfit Kappa, went to the annual Growers United Football Club fundraising dinner at The Bank House Hotel in Worcester. That week’s soggy weather didn’t put anyone off even after the original venue became an island!

Growers United was launched in October 2012 by Vicarage Nurseries, a local horticultural business.

GUFC aims to raise funds for charity, promote horticulture and agriculture, and encourage integration between communities.

A good evening was had by everyone and over £22,000 was raised for Cancer Research UK and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
